Ferretheart padded out of the warrior's den, ready for another day. She had been assigned to go out on a hunting patrol early in the morning and decided it was best to guzzle up from breakfast and wait for some other warriors or apprentice to gather around the entrance with her.
The ThunderClan warrior grabbed a quick bite of a thin squirrel before leaving, burying it fast and heading straight to the camps opening as she settled herself in the ground, feeling the cold dirt touch her body made a shiver grow up her spine, which slightly made the she-cat uncomfortable.

Smokepaw woke quietly, he had been assigned to patrol with his mentor and maybe some other cats this morning. He stood up slowly while stretching his legs. He was getting better at hunting every day and was glad for the exercise. He padded out of the Apprentice's Den and approached his mentor. He sat next to her. He tiredly meowed "good morning."

"Why morning to you, Smokepaw." Ferretheart purred, happy from her recent activities last night. The she-cat couldn't get Tigerpounce off her mind! Her heart fluttered with every thought of the other females name. It was slightly obvious that Ferretheart was happier than normal, especially to Smokepaw who recently spotted her taking the deepest nap in her life when she had come back to camp after their training.
Ferretheart groomed herself, trying to see if she had any dirt left on her from a puddle of mud she had stepped in last night, at least it helped to get that lovely RiverClan scent of Tigerpounce's off her body, which was slightly a shame but also important so she wasn't to be spotted. "Care to come on a patrol with me? You need it for training." The female smiled, it was a little floppy but at least she was trying her best to focus on her apprentice who was trying his best to get his training done to earn his loyal warrior name.
