Badgerstar leaped up onto The Highrock, preparing himself to see his eldest son grow up. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gathering around The Highrock for a clan meeting!" The tom announced as he stood tall, waiting to see his dear Smokepaw come around to the meeting area.

Smokepaw exited the Apprentice's den quietly. He had seen his father do this many times before. Apprentice ceremonies, warrior ceremonies, almost never for him. He'd been waiting for a while for his, though he didn't know this time it would be him. He was ready though. He sat and looked up at his father. His short grey fur was brushed down as it was most of the time. He flicked his tail, and waited.

The tom Thin on, beginning the rest of the ceremony. "Smokepaw, do you promise to uphold the Warrior Code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Badgerstar asked, his voice loud and strong as he spoke to his son, Smokepaw.

StarClan honors your strength and pride, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan." Badgerstar mewed, resting his muzzle on his sons head, proud of his accomplishments.
Ferretheart smiled from the Warriors' den, a sense of happiness fluttering in her eyes as she chanted her former apprentice's name as she watched him speak to his father.
