The Heirs to Shadowclan {Open to SC & Mallowdrop}

Moonstar strutted out of the nursery for the first time since her kitting. Moonstar had her five kits at her feet, as she had brought them out to see the camp as soon as they could open their eyes. The small kits could barely talk, but Moonstar was still excited to show them the beautiful Shadowclan camp. Quickly rushing to Moonstar's side was Sandrush, her loyal warrior. It was ironic, seeing as Sandrush was the first to see the kits and the first to have a crush on Moonstar despite not being the father. Moonstar was lucky however, as Sandrush was a loyal warrior and acted as though he were the father while still not asking who the real father was. Sandrush had come in too see Moonstar the day prior to tell her of Mallowdrop and... Bramblestar. Just thinking of the tom disgusted her. He was a horrible being, unworthy of being a cat and much much less leader of Skyclan. Moonstar hated him, being a strong mother herself and being protective of her newborn kits. Exiling Mallowdrop would have been a death wish to her and her kit if Shadowclan wasn't involved. Even if Mallowdrop was justifiable in exiling her, letting her kit go with her was far worse. He was breaking the warrior code in doing that, but did he care? No.

Moonstar pushed these thoughts out of her head, as a crowd was beginning to gather around her and Sandrush. Although Moonstar wanted some time to speak to Mallowdrop and Ravenheart, Moonstar decided she would embrace the crowd for now. The cats of Shadowclan ought to meet Moonstar's kits after all. "Cats of Shadowclan! I am overjoyed to bring you the news that I have given birth to five healthy and strong kits by the names of Crimsonkit, Sootkit, Littlekit, Woolkit, and Tigerkit." Tigerkit was the one name Ottersplash had chosen. He had chosen it the moment he knew she was pregnant. After all, Tigerpounce was a fantastic deputy. Moonstar had great respect for them. "Say hello to Shadowclan's future!" Moonstar yowled out to the gathered crowd.
