OOC: No one post unless the following users have replied: Squirrelly WolvenMight Hedgie leaf IC: Mallowdrop had been waiting in the medicine cats den, understanding that it had been important to stay there if any emergencies needed to be addressed with Blazeleaf. The female had been laying down in a cooled nest, drifting off slowly as she had been trying her best to go to sleep. Yet, she had stayed awake because pains had been bothering her, which she assumed was just her being pregnant since she had only heard so much from other mothers about the pain of the birth. She hadn't been ready, but knew it was best to think about what life was ahead of her when she would be able to deliver them to Ravenheart. Oh, Ravenheart, she had missed him. Mallowdrop understood that it was important to not seek for the tom, for she had no way of getting out of camp or any excuses, but she hoped that Ravenheart had understood, he was sensible about most things and Mallowdrop was confident that she would be able to explain everything to him with her mate understanding the whole time. And although she didn't look forward to giving away some of her kits, she knew that it was best to give Ravenheart the fatherhood that he deserved, even though he didn't plan so soon, nor did Mallowdrop. But either way, the two were satisfied with their ways of being able to work this parenthood thing out together, despite the long road that it would be. Suddenly, Mallowdrop felt a stabbing pain near her stomach, she winced, feeling it get worse by the minute. The female began to breathe hard, hoping that Blazeleaf was going to be here soon. Mallowdrop couldn't handle it any longer, she had no idea what to do and hadn't prepared for any of this. All the she-cat could do was yell for the SkyClan medicine cat to rush over as quick as possible. "Blazeleaf!" She yelled, hoping that she hadn't been waking anyone up in the night. |

"I'm coming!" Blazeleaf wondered for less than a second why someone was calling his name in the middle of the night with no other explanation. But a moment later, he recognized the voice as Mallowdrop, an expecting queen. Her kits were probably coming, though he had expected at least a few more days before their delivery. He still didn't know who the father of her kits was, but he had no time to dwell on that now. Quickly making a bundle of raspberry and borage leaves, he hurried over to the nursery. As he had expected, the queen seemed to be in the extreme pain that happened before and during kitting. Fortunately, he detected no sense of sickness or infection on her, and guessed this would be relatively easy. Of course, there was no way to tell weakness or bleeding in advance, so he really had no idea. Either way, she would probably feel more pain than ever before during the experience. Running out of the nursery for a few moments, he returned with a sturdy stick, looking sternly into the she-cat's eyes.
"Mallowdrop, you have to listen to me. Next time you feel a pain, you have to push as hard as you can. Kitting is natural, and as much as you'll feel like you're going to die from pain, I assure you you'll be alright. When it hurts, you can bite down on the stick, alright? Just remember to push, and you have to be strong." Hoping that his words had some effect on Mallowdrop, he pushed the stick directly in front of her. Herbs weren't needed just yet, and hopefully they wouldn't have to be. Only if to much blood came out with the kits or if she was having trouble making milk would those be necessary.

Mallowdrop nodded, grabbing the stick within seconds and automatically biting down as hard as possible. The female had expected to see her mate by her side, but she remembered that he could never enter this camp without being attacked in some way and probably losing his role.
The female finally could feel her pain decrease, beginning to ask herself if she still needed to bite down on this sturdy branch any longer. But she knew that as long as Blazeleaf told her the correct things to do, that the she-cat would be fine.

There was warmth. Then there was cold. The large ginger kit wriggled around, disturbed by the newfound cold. He breathed in, he smelled all the new scents. Of course he wouldn't be able to see or hear for a little while. The large kit mewled, and scented his mother. He quickly wriggled over to her. He was large just like his father. Just with the beautiful ginger coat that Mallowdrop had. His eyes were closed and when they opened they would be blue. In time his eyes would grow to be a piercing amber just like his fathers. The kit loved being near his mother, but would soon leave and would grow in front of his fathers eyes. This would be a Shadowclan cat. All Mallowdrop had to do was get him there.

| T he next kit was born and much his brother. He was sported Mallowdrop's ginger pelt. All these new smells scared him along feeling cold. He was blind and deaf like any newborn kit would be. By instinct alone, he followed his mother scent. Sadly, in the wrong direction, all while mewling. He fell out of the nest with louder cries. Still confused, he just way wriggling forward still trying to find his mother. |

The soon-to-be-name Tigerkit suddenly felt a large burst of light hit his face, causing him to mew loudly as he began to feel a large shiver flow over his body. The male struggled to get over to his mother as his siblings crowded in. The grey tabby male began to feel the warmth of his mother's belly as he Thin closer, snuggling next to her as he began to suckle for milk.
OOC: Sorry I'm super late, got some stuff going on.

"Great job, Mallowdrop," Blazeleaf soothed, glad that the kitting had gone perfectly. The herbs weren't even needed after all. After freeing each of the kittens from their sacs, he was able to see that all three of them were toms. Picking up the one that fell out of the nest, he put him next to Mallowdrop, hoping he would still be able to find milk. "Congratulations. Now you just have to name them."

Mallowdrop pushed her nose against the kit who had fallen out of the nest, sniffing the male and thinking of a name. Foxkit seemed perfect, for the toms distinct ginger coat and even darker apricot markings that swarmed the toms back and close to his lower belly almost represented the dangerous yet beautiful animal. "Foxkit of SkyClan..." The queen purred as she lifted her nose from under the kit and Thin it towards the other ginger kit, who had a softer titian look to himself. The tom had tips of white colored on the edges of his body and a pattern placed on his back that was much darker than the rest of his body, showcasing an almost tabby-like structure to the newborn. "Rowankit of SkyClan..." Mallowdrop purred as she then Thin her nose to the final kit, one that was much more different in looks from the rest. It was almost like a gray tiger, which represented the newly named kit. This young one seemed to have gotten Ravenheart's looks, and perhaps his personality. Mallowdrop smiled as she began to speak once more. "Tigerkit of SkyClan..." She purred, finally lifting her head up towards Blazeleaf. "The three troublemakers." She laughed as she Thin Foxkit closer to the rest of his siblings.

| F oxkit tempered at the feeling of thing pressed against him. Was it his mother or someone else he couldn't tell but mewed loudly. He wanted his mother and this things whatever it was soft but cold. He just called out until he was placed back into nest next to her the other kits. The sweet of milk attracted him and pushing past his siblings he began to nurse. I am bad at playing newborn kits Like really bad |
