Among the massive trees of Skyclan, the deputy watched the thunderpath below her bustling with twoleg monsters below her. Her soft, fluffy white fur ruffled in the wind as she daydreamed idley, her tail dangling off the branch. Listening to the soft chittering of birds amongst the trees, a calm haze washed over Snowfeather, and the deputy felt momentarily at peace with the world around her. Opening her eyes to the Shadowclan territory that lay just across the thunderpath, she narrowed her eyes to gaze into the dark haziness that seemed to suffocate the pine forest and wondered how any cat could possibly stand to live there.

Nettlesong walked along through the marsh territory she lived in, which fully belonged to ShadowClan. The female had been hunting swiftly, showing her agile speeds as she had been chasing a toad. Of course, the weight of her pelt slowed her down as mud gathered on the edges, weighing down the she-cat as she chased the toad out into The Thunderpath, aware of her existence in such deadly territory.
Immediately, the warrior Thin out of the way just in time as a large and fast monster slammed her way, it's motoring sounds echoing in the distance as she jumped out into the territory of SkyClan, which she knew he didn't belong in. But she also knew was unsafe due to SkyClan's new leader, Bramblestar, who had his rein on his clan and was very unstable.
Nettlesong could see an outline of a dark shadow, as the clouds shifted in the sky, the ShadowClan warrior could see a feathery white shifting through the forest, an obvious breath pushing in and out of the SkyClan cat. As Nettlesong came to further inspection, the female could see markings of a mix of grey and brown painted on the face like a mask and a batch of the color on the other warriors long fluffy tail. Through this darkness in the SkyClan wilderness, Nettlesong could see piercing blue eyes, ones that automatically stung Nettlesong with a helplessness that she couldn't fix. Now, Nettlesong felt no need to fight, because this ShadowClan warrior knew that this one was hers.

Watching the wondering Shadowclan cat from the trees, Snowfeather snaked through the branches to more closely inspect the misplaced she-cat. Upon closer examination, the pale deputy noticed the mud dragging the warriors fur down, That's not surprising, giving where she lives, Snowfeather thought to herself. Feeling the leaves tickle her fur, the she-cat quietly slipped onto a lower branch, hardly disturbing the leaves that acted as cover. Peeking through the small offshooting branches, her glittering eyes shone brightly in the shadows that clung to the forest, easily hiding her pelt amongst the trees.
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but you seem to be in the wrong territory," Snowfeather drawled, her voice seeming to echo through the forest around her. The she cats whiskers twitched in amusement as she settled down among the leaves, one of her front legs dangling lazily from the branch. Though Snowfeather knew she should drive the Shadowclan she-cat from Skyclan territory, she admitted to herself that she was having fun teasing the rival warrior.

"Well," Nettlesong purred, coming into closer contact with the other feline. "I suppose you'd be correct." Nettlesong winked, smiling brightly as she tried her best to clean off her fur. "But I just couldn't help but find myself coming closer to you with your beautiful looks." The warrior purred, not even trying to climb the tree that the teasing she-cat had been hanging in, for Nettlesong already knew that the result wouldn't be one that she would be laughing at.

A snarky smirk crossed the Skyclan deputy's face, though she was thankful the shadows hid her features, not wanting to give the other she-cat the satisfaction of knowing how amused Snowfeather was. Idly toying with the leaves surrounding her, the long-furred she cat stretched her jaws in a massive yawn as if to convince herself of being bored.
"You know I should have your pelt for trespassing on my territory," Snowfeather taunted, though she had no intention of following through with the threat, "And for trying to smoothtalk your way out of such a proper punishment." The deputy did have to admit that there was something charming about the Shadowclan she-cat, but she pushed the thought aside, not wanting to be drawn into a cross-clan romance that seemed to be spreading through the clans like a plague.

OOC: I am the forbidden plague lmao
IC: Nettlesong laughed a cute smile, amused by the deputy's taunting statements. "And I should have your heart by the end of this!" Nettlesong joked, sightly meaning it though. But the warrior knew that the unknown female wouldn't be able to sense that...Could she?
The warrior shook her thoughts away, trying her best to be the persuasive and charming female she had been before. "Smooth talk is my way of getting out of a lot of situations..." Nettlesong smiled, "But this is not smooth talk." Nettlesong said, deepening her voice as to almost try to do an impression of Badgerstar. Nettlesong cocked her head as to show she was obviously not serious, but rather just toying with the deputy in an odd but hilarious way.

A soft, silky chuckle slipped from the mouth of the still hidden she-cat, and now more than ever she was grateful for the cover of the trees as to not show how amusing this interaction truly was. "What kinds of situations? Getting stuck in some mud?" She teased, continuing to eye the warrior with interest. Snowfeather purred, flexing her claws lazily as the sky began to darken above the towering trees, signaling the end of another gloomy day. Hopefully tomorrow the weather will be better... She thought, noting how poor hunting was with the heavy, humid air so thick it felt as if the she-cat were submerged in water.
"Now if you're trying to seduce me, I must warn you I'm a bit of a slow burn," She warned, finding great enjoyment in playing hard to get; to Snowfeather, it was more about the journey than the destination itself.

"Well," Nettlesong purred, "I think as long as that whole time of earning you I get to actually get rid of this small talk, not too interesting for me." The she-cat explained, "And I know it isn't for you, a well-deserving she-cat who should take more than she gets." Nettlesong smiled, "Now tell me your name, I do not look forward to calling you 'she-cat' the whole time we get to learn from each other." The warrior purred, interested in hearing the other clan cat's name, for it was probably as pretty as she looked.

Surprised at the Shadowclan cats comments, Snowfeather's pelt grew warm with embarrassment, though knew better than to let such emotions get to her. Shaking the heat from her pelt, the Skyclan cat dropped gracefully from the tree, landing silently on the ground in front of the Shadowclan she-cat.
"Snowfeather," She drawled lazily, sitting and wrapping her tail lazily around her paws. "And what may I call you?" Snowfeather asked, tilting her head curiously to one side, "Such a pretty she-cat must have an equally beautiful name."

Nettlesong smiled, happy to have gotten that smug look off her face. "Nettlesong," the she-cat purred, "Nettlesong of ShadowClan."
OOC: Super short I'm so sorry ;;

OOC: It's all good haha.
IC:
Narrowing her eyes to inspect the she cat further, Snowfeather smiled softly, noting the messy, nettle-like fur of the she-cat. "Fitting, I suppose. Is your personality as prickly as your fur?" The Skyclan cat teased, getting to her paws and weaving around Nettlesong, "Or do the two contradict?" She purred into the Shadowclan cats ear, her voice as soft as velvet. Moving to stand in front of her atypical company, Snowfeather's copper and blue eyes bore into Nettlesongs, searching deeply for any sense of hostility in the she-cat, though finding none. Feeling more at ease, Snowfeather sat down once more and let the warm breeze ruffle her fur, as if brushing all tension from her body.

"Well..." Nettlesong purred, "I wonder if that applies to you too, beautiful." The warrior smiled, brushing against the side of Snowfeather. "I know it's very early, dearie." Nettlesong purred, "But it's proper to say that I love you."

Nettlesong's kit-soft fur brushing against her own sent a shiver running down Snowfeather's spine, forcing a gasp to escape through her jaws. Once again, her pelt went warm, burning as hot as the brutal greenleaf sun, "Early indeed, deary," Snowfeather lulled, her eyes heavy and half lidded, "Hasn't anyone ever told you you shouldn't mess around with strange cats?" She purred, relishing in the soft touch of Nettlesongs fur. Though she was only teaching, Snowfeather knew deep down that what she was doing was strictly against the warrior code, but what harm could come from a little fun? As long as she stayed loyal to her clan, wasn't this alright?

Nettlesong laughed slightly, but not loud enough for the cats around the two she-cats to hear. "I suppose a few unpopular opinions have come up, yes." Nettlesong smiled, "But I am most familiar with the approval of loved ones." The warrior purred, stopping next to Snowfeather and placing her body down next to the deputy. "I forgot to add that beautiful cats like this one she-cat named Snowfeather were the most important too." Nettlesong purred, wrapping her tail around Snowfeather in a calming and flirty way.

The soft feeling of Nettlesongs fur against hers seemed to soothe the tension in the she-cats muscles in an instant, and almost unwillingly, Snowfeather dropped her guard. "Perhaps that is the case, but who's to say I won't line my nest with your fur?" She teased, prodding the Shadowclan she-cat with her paw. The scent of pine needles wafted around her, almost instantly transporting her to the heart of Shadowclan territory, and from this perspective, the marshland didn't seem so hostile. It wasn't until Snowfeather opened her eyes once more that she realized she was still on her side of the border, sitting beneath the massive oaks that lazily shed their leaves from above.
