OOC: That's fine IC: Littlepaw trotted out of the apprentice's den, already happy that the day was starting. He was excited and wanted to be just like his father, Badgerstar! Despite his disappearance, Littlepaw knew that he could end up just like him someday! Badgerstar was strong, and Littlepaw wanted to be too. Littlepaw spotted Frostfur, who was waiting for the apprentice quietly. Littlepaw figured that he could grab a snack before heading onto anything new with his mentor, so the apprentice grabbed a small snack of a tiny squirrel and ate it as fast as possible. And being small, the apprentice was fast and getting back to his mentor. "I'm ready!" Littlepaw chirped, hopping up and down as he was quite excited.

Frostfur smiled at the excitement that seemed to radiate of of Littlepaw so he nodded and walked out of camp, making sure that Littlepaw was following him close.
* TIME SKIPPPPPPP*
In the middle of the forest Frostfur stopped and turned around. " alright today I want to see how your hunting skills have been improving! So I task you to find one squirrel and bring it back to me, okay?" He looked at his apprentice, was he able to do such a thing? Wasn't Frostfur making it to difficult for him? After all he and Littlepaw had only been on a few hunts together. What if Littlepaw failed? What if he failed Littlepaw? He shook his head trying to sheak the worries of of him, for star clans sake, he was the mentor, he should help Littlepaw not drown himself in his own doubt.
( " Rainy dont do it! DONT DO IT!" Rainy looked at her mind and causally presses the emotion-waterfall button, " oops")

Littlepaw stared at Frostfur for a moment. The apprentice had to take a moment to bring in all the information that his mentor had just given him. I've never hunted before, what if I fail? Littlepaw thought, beginning to already hear the scolding of Frostfur as the apprentice hopped over to only give his mentor a skull and a few scraps of fur. "O-Okay..." Littlepaw mumbled as he turned himself around and brought himself to leap into the forest, bounding after a few noises he heard and beginning to skid to a halt once he reached an even bigger clearing than the one he and Frostfur had been in. The apprentice tried his best to perk up his ears, getting a sense of the cold wind blowing by as he began to notice that their season was coming to a slight end. But that wasn't important, this was.
As Littlepaw gathered the courage to unsheath his claws and crouch down to the level of his prey, the apprentice began to think of the possible praises he would get if he caught this mini beast in front of him, the small squirrel that Frostfur had easily requested. Of course, this wasn't going to be a total fail if he tried his best, but Littlepaw knew in the back of his mind that his lack of faith in himself could obviously get the best of him.

Littlepaw leaped forwards, using his unsheathed claws to attack his prey and push it into his mouth, crushing it with the bite of his large pointed teeth that were designed to do this for his survival and his clans. The apprentice stopped, realizing that his prey was dead, the prey he had been so paranoid about for no reason! Littlepaw smiled, picking up his prey and looking up towards the sky as he traditionally thanked Starclan for his catch. Littlepaw already had been taught to do this by his mother and father, which meant he was already a little bit ahead in hunting but only by a small percent.
The small Thunderclan tom made his way over to Frostfur, dropping down his squirrel that his mentor had given Littlepaw to challenge. The small apprentice held his head high as he waited for his mentor to respond.

Frostfur had felt his insecurity taken over when he saw Littlepaw disappear through the bushes, had he done the right thing to ask such a thing from a apprentice who was hunting for the first time? Maybe he should have started with something easier or he should have learned him the hunting crouch. DID LITTLEPAW EVEN KNOW THE HUNTING CROUCH?? All theses thoughts where on his mind until he was snapped out of them by rustling of the bushes followed by Littlepaw who had a squirrel inside his mouth and dropped it before him. Frostfur could not help but feel so proud for the apprentice, first time hunting and directly catching a squirrel, he was so ready to tell Littlepaw that he was amazing and that Frostfur was so proud of having sutch a talented apprentice yet he stopped himself I don't want him to turn arrogant like his mother. He simply smiled and said " good job Littlepaw that is a nice catch, now how about I show you how to catch prey like squirrels in tree's?" he did his best to make his voice sound mildly happy as he spoke to his apprentice.
( SO SORRY FOR THE LATE REPPLY, school just started again and I need to get my stuff in order)

Littlepaw smiled "Alright!" He mewed, trying his best to speak even though his mouth was full of fur that the squirrel had left on his tongue. The apprentice spat towards the ground, hoping that his attempts at becoming a warrior of Thunderclan would come through successfully and he would soon grow into his warrior name.
Littlepaw waited for his mentor to show him how to catch squirrels. This would be more challenging because the squirrels would be climbing, and climbing wasn't really a trait that Thunderclan was familiar with, so hopefully, Littlepaw could get the hang of this.
OOC: Get it? The HANG?
