Dawnpaw listened carefully, and watched the cats as they entered the mothermouth. Dawnpaw followed them, eventually coming upon a light more beautiful than anything she had ever seen. She listened through Frostpaw's introduction to Starclan, and smiled as Valewhisper introduced her to Starclan. In a way, Dawnpaw was lucky. She had not one mentor, but five. As the time came and Valewhisper asked Dawnpaw the sacred question, Dawnpaw responded "Yes, I do." Dawnpaw watched the other medicine cats touch their nose to the Moonstone, and fall asleep in an odd trance. Dawnpaw shrugged, and did the same. Reality swirled as her mind drifted away to a plane beyond that of mortals. Her eyes appeared to be shut by some etherial force - however when she opened them, Dawnpaw saw something she would never forget. Vast planes of of stars swirled around her. Dawnpaw was in Starclan, the realm of the ancestors.
The beauty of it engulfed her, although Dawnpaw would not be seeing it for long. A sharp pain shot through her as Dawnpaw was engulfed in a blackness that seemed to trap her for hundreds of years, yet Dawnpaw knew that it was mere minutes in reality. Suddenly, Dawnpaw was dropped into a realm beyond stars. A place that reeked of death and anger. Dawnpaw sensed a fiery presence beside her as a voice spoke to her. "Hello young one. I am Taturataku, the Death- Oh what does it matter? Blah blah blah you think I'm going to kill you but I'm not, blah blah blah. Can we just skip through all that? Thanks." As Dawnpaw looked around, she saw that the voice was not lying. This was Taturataku, the Deathdreamer. Although he clearly had an important message to tell her, Dawnpaw just sort of awkwardly stood silent. "Anyways," Taturataku continued. "I am here to deliver to you a prophecy. If you're wondering 'Why me?' It's because the last guy was too lazy to tell anyone. So here it is. enjoy." Taturataku's eyes glazed over, giving way to pure white blankness.
"Little puppet, little fool. The demon is here, as you are too late. Alas one has succumb to the puppet's wrath, yet will the others? Alas, forces in the dark are growing ever stronger. The puppet-master plays his game. Yet years have passed nothing changes. Five will succumb. But is that forever?" At that moment Taturataku Thin faster than can be seen with the naked eye, appearing an inch away from Dawnpaw's face. "The puppetmaster will forever play his game and bring the forest to it's knees. Forever this will last, lest the Moon spills blood and faces the Reaper's door."
Dawnpaw felt another intense pain shoot through her, a pain that felt worse than death. Her eyes shot open, and Dawnpaw saw that she was the first to awaken from their deep slumber. What Dawnpaw had just heard was deeply disturbing, and it was likely she needed to give the warning extremely soon if not immediately. Dawnpaw elected to inform Brackenstar right when she can to camp. Despite having reconciled and dissected the dream, Dawnpaw was still shivering in fear. That seemed to be the nature of the Deathdreamer.
OOC: The great thing about Taturataku is that I can do whatever I want with him like having him know what the Grim Reaper is because he's not from the forest, but instead an enchanted island that exists only in the past.

"Great, let's go," Blazeleaf agreed, heading into Mothermouth. If he had to talk to Robinstar again that night, he swore he wouldn't even bother talking to her. Seeing the light from the Moonstone, he hurried into where the tunnel opened up into a cave. Lying down, he put his nose right next to the stone without touching it. Why couldn't he just lay there all night and sleep normally? Actually, that sounded like a good plan to him.Trying to sleep, he accidentally nudged close to the giant crystal, touching his nose to it. Giving up, he let sleep take him to StarClan.
"What's it for tonight, Robinstar?" Blazeleaf asked before even opening his eyes. When he did, he was surprised to see that he wasn't in the usual place. Maybe Robinstar had decided to take his advice to switch it up after all. Now, instead of SkyClan-like territory, he was in a more thickly wooded forest, surrounded by low hanging maple and oak branches. If he had to guess, he would say this was most similar to ThunderClan territory. Odd, he had never been here before. Turning around, he was surprised not to see the former SkyClan leader. Instead, there was a blue-gray she-cat looking at him, not looking too happy. This was getting stranger. Not only was h in a different place than usual, but he was speaking to a different cat as well. Maybe the usual messenger had gotten so fed up with him that she got a new cat to have to deal with him. That sounded like something she would do. He couldn't help but laugh at the thought. "Greetings, Blazeleaf. I am not Robinstar, I am Fograin, former ThunderClan medicine cat. I was a lot like you before I died. But tonight is not about my life. I have a message for you and your clan," Fograin said, earning a doubtful look from Blazeleaf. This was most likely one of Robinstar's attempts to make him feel like she understood him. If that was the case, than it was failing horribly. But she dd say she had a message, and while he was pretty sure it would be some ominus load of foxdung, he was required to at least listen to it. Who knew, maybe it would be something important that he had to tell his leader. But wouldn't. Looking up at the medicine cat, his yellow gaze was filled with disinterest. "Oh great. I finally get rid of Robinstar and a ThunderClanner takes her place. What are you going to tell me, I'm going to turn evil or my clan is going to die or something? Or some annoying prophecy that means nothing?" Blazeleaf asked sarcastically, as if trying to prove how little he cared about whatever she was about to say. So far, Fograin was seeming to be a lot like Robinstar. But at least she didn't try to make him feel excited about any of this. In fact, she relly seemed just as unhappy to be there as he was. Perhaps that was just to gain his trust, or to throw someone at him that was more his style. Whatever the case may be, he wasn't liking her at all. And her stupid message would definitely be worthless. Most likely he wouldn't even end up telling Snowfeather about it. "I have an important message for you and you clan," Fograin repeated firmly, as if it was going to make some sort of difference. "Now listen. An era of death is coming for all five clans. And remember. the ending is just the beginning." Blazeleaf was pretty sure this was winner for most cryptic message he had received. Even though all StarClan cats loved to be ominous with their warnings, at least Robinstar had just said them normally instead of speaking in riddles like this. And he was just starting to prefer the former medicine cat too. Rolling his eyes, he walked away, pretending to be intent on studying a leaf. He could almost hear the starry she-cat's frustration, and smiled to himself. She was just like the last one after all. A sudden thought came to him, and he turned back around and walked over to her. "And why are you telling me this instead of Robinstar? I hardly ever see anyone here except for her," Blazeleaf commented, trying to hide the curiosity he felt. It wasn't like he missed Robinstar or anything, he was just wondering. Besides, Fograin was just as annoying as her. While any variation was welcome by him, StarClan never gave him what he wanted, so he couldn't help but be a bit suspicious of the entire scenario. What were they trying to make him do here? Whatever it was, he didn't want them to know how much he wanted to know, so he stated his question as casually and lacking of interest as possible. For other cats, that might make them seem more suspicious, but he was already like that anyway, so she wouldn't notice the difference. Hopefully. "This is a very important message, and you wouldn't take Robinstar seriously," Fograin replied, a hint of accusation in her voice. Blazeleaf looked at her with a face full of skepticism. While most of her words made sense, he didn't like her tone. Why was she implying that he was to blame for not taking Robinstar seriously? It was her fault for always giving him meaningless information. She was the only cat to blame for that problem. But it was true that he didn't take her seriously. How could he after spending this much time talking to her every moon? And he seriously doubted the message he received was that important. Another thing StarClan seemed to love doing was making a big deal out of everything. Not every small little problem required a creepy warning. They probably just like the drama because it made them feel more important. "That's the truth. But what makes you think I would take you seriously either?" With those words, the dream faded, and Blazeleaf was back in the Moonstone cave.

| F rostpaw was growing more annoyed by Blazeleaf each and every second she was here. Fool of a medicine cat. She thought began to darker when Valewhiper voice snapped her out of it. She listened to her mentor words with a calm expression. However, her mind was anything but it. She was nervous and scared of what Starclan would think of her. She didn't too angry them as did before. "I understand Valewhiper, I'll keep close." She gestured for Dawnpaw to follow her as they went into mother mouth. It was dark but she strange the fear the bothered her before was forgotten. What it the fact Valewhiper was her side or the feeling of being close to Starclan taking hold on her, who knows? Regardless she continued silence until she saw the moonstone. It was beautiful a treasure beyond belief. Starclan she could feel them and the connection. A connection only fellow medicine cats could understand was forming. Starclan, Is with me.She turned to Valewhiper with the smile on her face no care with other would question the sudden change in her demeanor. She looked Valewhiper in the eyes taking her words to heart. "It is." This was her destiny she would take with pride. Frostpaw nodded following the directions given she passed her nose against the moonstone and closed her eyes. She felt a soothing wave of coldness like a breath passed over here as the drift to sleep. As she woke up everything looked different-mystical. "So this is Starclan?" She looked at two figures appeared before her. It was her own parents. "Mom, Dad." She wanted to run up and hug him but she couldn't it wasn't her time yet, " I'm sorry that I am the warrior you want to be but I chose want was best for me and that beginning with Valewhiper and Medicine cat I hope you understand that." Her father, Hawkjaw the brown tabby with vivid yellow eyes looked at his daughter. There was no hate or disgust yet there was strict deep within them. "I-we could be more proud of you. You need the thing just as we did in saving you "
Dovefrost the white she-cat with sea blue eyes now stripped forward.."Yes, Frostpaw dear. I wish had more time but their message-a warning. The ending is the beginning of the fall of five, fear the predator in the storm." "What is that message a p-?" Frostpaw mind and connection to weak to continue. The only enough to repeat once more. "The ending is the beginning of fall of five, fear the predator in the storm." She could fell it the feeling of pain, terror and the eyes of beast staring at her. Before she woke instantly screaming. WORDS Frostpaw is weird when is comes to starclan. |

Rainpool woke up in the grass of the star clan and she could not help but wonder if next time she woke up here it would be permanent. She stood up and lat out a soft gasp, right before her stood the meddicen cat of Thunderclan before her. Someone she respected all her life, someone who she had only seen once in Starclan. “S..S…Silverleaf?” she sad with a mix of happiness and disbelieve in her voice.
The silver almost white she-cat nodded and looked at her former apprentice her green eyes shining with nothing but pride as she spoke “Rainpool your passion for your clan while guide you trough the hardest of times, yet you can’t do it alone” Rainpool blinked as she was suddenly standing in a cave her clan had made their temporary camp in. Silverleaf gestured to follow and she silently obeyed, silent yet a storm of thought flooded her mind, why where they in the Thunderclan camp? why decided Silverleaf to show up, why now? and who was going to help-‘ the hit hit her. “ I ..I am going to get an apprentice?” she almost whispered it not wanting to hear her mentor’s answer afraid she would say no afraid that she would just laugh and give her some sort of stupid puzzling prophecy, she wanted a clear answer and she wanted it now. “ I am going to get an apprentice, right?” she said her voice louder now, Silverleaf turned around to face her former apprentice, the forest seemed to went silent as she spoke “ I see your fear and dread tonight, yet your courage will be rewarded” her kind eyes suddenly turned serious as she spoke “ You will unexpectedly allies and unexpected enemies, yet in times of darkness the clans must pull trough” her tone softened “ and about the apprentice… ” Rainpool blinked as moonlight suddenly shined in her face. Rainpool blinked at this then she figured it out, the apprentice part at least, the signs where clear, she would talk with Lullabyshade about this the thought of having to talk with her sister about this mather made a shiver go up her spine, she did not have a good relation with her sister, and she did not want to think about the anger the medicine cat would hear when she would tell her that one of her kin was destined to be a medicine cat. Lullabyshade would probaly just ignore her and ask Badgerstar to make Moonkit an warrior apprentice anyway, Moonkit the youngest kit of Lullabyshade and Badgerstar, destend to be a medicen cat. She noticed now that the teritory of Starclan was fading and made place for the darkness of the cave. She quickly stood up and looked around as she heard a scream coming from Frostpaw She imidatly sprinted over to the apprentice and saw her shivering in fear. “ hey, hey its okay now your here in the moonstone cave breath!” she said it as motherly and nice as she could. What did star clan tell this apprentice to make her wake up in fear?

Dawnpaw jumped as she heard screaming. She looked around to see Frostpaw, being comforted by Rainpool. Why was Frostpaw so scared? Unless... Had she had the same dream as me? Dawnpaw thought. Dawnpaw slowly walked over to Frostpaw, and began speaking quickly. "W-why were you screaming? W-were you in pain?" The Dawnpaw said it, she knew it would come off as caring. And indeed Dawnpaw was worried for Frostpaw. However, it also carried a secondary meaning. One time during one of Dawnpaw's talks with Eagleflight, he had mentioned that dreams from Starclan were beautiful and amazing. That didn't sound like pain. This lead Dawnpaw to think that the pain that she had felt (And possibly Frostpaw too) could be connected to the prophecy. That was why Dawnpaw had to ask.

When next Valewhisper's eyes fluttered open, she immediately recognized StarClan's hunting grounds. Her mind wandered to Dawnpaw, and Frostpaw, and she wondered if she would see them in their dreams tonight. It was unlikely, but the she-cat couldn't help but wish for it. She wanted to know how well StarClan would receive them.
"You'll know soon enough, little healer; apprentices don't keep quiet for long," a voice cut into the ShadowClan medicine cat's thought, and Valewhisper recognized the smooth, cool voice of her former mentor and ShadowClan's former medicine cat, Laurelleaf. The mottled she-cat had been a great mentor to the young medicine cat, and had always seemed to know everything she was thinking. Valewhisper turned to face her, but Laurelleaf was barley visible: only her yellow eyes, which were glinting like fire, could be seen. Valewhisper felt a flicker of alarm, as normally StarClan was clear as day to her. "You are afraid?" Laurelleaf observed, a hint of a scoff in her voice. Though she had been a medicine cat her whole life, Laurelleaf had been fearless, Valewhisper remembered fondly.
"There is much to fear," Valewhisper responded, though she was more worried than truly afraid. "You know about the rogue that sought us out and is sheltering with ShadowClan. Wait. ThunderClan, are they--"
"ShadowClan is your Clan, not ThunderClan," Laurelleaf interrupted sharply, and for a moment Valewhisper was worried that her mentor did not care - despite that there must always be five Clans in the forest - but the StarClan cat added quietly, "StarClan is watching over them, and for now that is the best anyone can do. They have always been strong: they will survive." Laurelleaf's eyes focused intensely on Valewhisper's now, and her voice deepened as she spoke. "Dead walks with living, pawsteps thunder underground, and the forest shines red with blood. Only the light of the passing moon can return the trees to shadow."
Laurelleaf's voice was immediately cut silent; her eyes disappeared like the moon behind clouds, and Valewhisper woke to the sound of screaming and felt her apprentice, Frostpaw, thrashing beside her. Horror crept through Valewhisper - how could StarClan send Frostpaw such a horrible nightmare on her first visit to the Moonstone?! - and she immediately rose to her paws and bent to lick Frostpaw soothingly. Rainpool had run over and begun to soothe her as well, and Dawnpaw padded up to ask what happened.
"We must not speak of the dreams that StarClan tells us before we know what it means," Valewhisper reminded WindClan's new medicine cat apprentice gently, knowing her intentions were good. Her eyes looked haunted, too, but Valewhisper continued, "And we rarely discuss the meanings with other Clans." Despite that Valewhisper knew that this threat was for all the Clans - and likely, all the Clans had received a similar warning - it was true that none of them likely knew what it meant yet. For now discussing it would only invite more weakness and perhaps animosity between the Clans, if they chose not to trust each other. They needed to know more, and Valewhisper suspected Rainpool may have information that ShadowClan could use with Otto's help.
Valewhisper gently nuzzled Frostpaw's soft white ear and murmured, "We can talk about what happened when we return home. You don't need to think about it now." The ShadowClan medicine cat stood and mewed to all the others, "Come. I know we must all have much to speak with our leaders about." Valewhisper looked at Dawnpaw again and said sympathetically, "Normally you would have a mentor to discuss your dreams with... I think it would be wise to utilize Brackenstar's help. He is not as intimately familiar with StarClan as a medicine cat, but he is still connected to them and can give you guidance. Perhaps he can help you determine the meanings of the signs and prophecies you receive."

| F rostpaw took deep breathes and looked around to see the other cats nearby. She was back from Starclan. That was eventful in good and a bad way. She clamped onto her panting. "I-I" There no words to described how she felt. That feeling of being like prey to predator, that feeling when she lost her parents it had came back and worse than before. Valwhipser and the other helped her calm down. "Okay, Valewhiper. I am sorry for the outburst." |
