Half-Moon Meeting 9/2/2018|TOTWL The moon softly gleamed over the lands that the clans roamed over. The night had just begun, and soon the small Dawnkit would be facing her first challenges on becoming a medicine cat of WindClan. For now, she had to host WindClan herself, even if she was a kit. Besides, she could handle it. It wasn't like she wasn't almost going to become the apprentice anyways, WindClan needed her, and badly.
Soon, the medicine cat's made their way over towards the land that they were going to be welcomed into. It was time for their daily routines of checking up on StarClan for the news that they were to receive from their ancestors. | Tonight was going to be a time of peace, even if a creepy vision were to come upon these cats of the clans. As medicine cats, they were to expect what was to come, even if it left them shaking as they left Highstones.
Now, it was time for the cats to begin their journey as the moon looked down onto them, now all the medicine cats had to do was wait and gather to meet StarClan and share tongues with their past leaders or ancestors. |

| F rostpaw followed Valewhisper as it seemed like were the first ones to arrive. She hopes Goldenslight was in a better mood and the other medicine cats were too. Something felt off and she couldn't put her paw on it."Valewhisper, do you Goldensight is still mad?"
Probably given the fact that a pain in the tail than one she was never met. "I hope the Starclan will be calm this night and don't hate me." She wanted to forget the past but she knew it was going to be brought no matter what. |

Valewhisper's black and white fur fluffed out against the breeze as she and her apprentice, Frostpaw, stepped out of the pines and towards the moors which would direct them to Highstones. The medicine cat felt that she had left her Clan in good care, but she couldn't shake the feeling of worry that knotted her stomach whenever she thought of ShadowClan. It had been entrusted to her, but her leader had broken the warrior code by having kits, and the deputy had as well. Her Clan felt strange to her now.
Not only that, but extreme danger was lurking in ThunderClan's territory; by now Valewhisper was certainly every Clan knew. ThunderClan's border markers were stale, as if they hadn't been to see them for several long days. A strange rogue had come to ShadowClan's camp warning of a group of rogues which had been strong enough to chase out ThunderClan, and the other Clans only had a matter of time before the Empire had grown strong enough to force another Clan out.
However, these matters were all distant at the moment. The most important fact was that this was Frostpaw's first time being presented to StarClan. Valewhisper wouldn formally announce Frostpaw's apprenticeship. She had certainly made a first impression for herself at the Gathering. The other medicine cats were likely to remember her, for better or worse. The young white apprentice's words surprised Valewhisper.
"I hope she's feeling better," the she-cat replied carefully. "I didnt like the way she spoke to you; what you were doing didn't warrant the response she gave. I would suggest you try to speak with the other apprentices - they're likely less prickly than Goldensight."

Rainpool had been hiding in the shadows the whole trip to Highstones as for right now the territory of Thunderclan was not save, a warrior had even asked to escort her to high stones but she had said that she would be fine and Rainpool keeper true to her words. She had been avoiding all cents of cats and had been walking trough the woods like a shadow, what was for her rather hard judging by her silver-grey pelt but she made it. When she came she saw that the medicine cat of Shadowclan together with her apprentice. She smiled in herself that apprentice of her had sertenly left an impression on her but she decided to not bring it up today more important stuff was going on in her head right now and she could really need the guidance of Starclan to help her.
" hello Valewhisper, Coldpaw" she said greeting the two. She sat down her worries once more coming over her, was it right for her to leave her clan at such a moment? What if something happened and she was not there to help? On times like this she once more wished she had an apprentice so she could have a bit less to worry about. She sighed and looked around waiting for the rest to come.
( Rainpool is going to have a nice dream about Moonkit, also Lilypaw is not yet an MCA in this topic but she is already injured)

Dawnpaw quickly made her way through the hills of Windclan to the Mothermouth to meet the others. She wondered what they would think of her... they would hate her wouldn't they? Would they not take her seriously? From what she heard, Valewhisper was nice but Goldensight and Blazeleaf sounded horrible. She pushed these thoughts and rumors aside. Why should she care what the others thought? What was important was the safety of her clan. Dawnpaw rounded a corner and saw the a few of the medicine cats gathered outside Mothermouth. Luckily, Goldensight wasn't there. Dawnpaw steadily walked up a hill and finally was within sight range of the other Medicine Cats. "H-hello. I'm Dawnpaw. Windclan's medicine cat died without an apprentice s-so I'm all that's here." She spoke quickly and stuttered a bit, for Dawnpaw was very nervous. She had the pressure of all of Windclan on her shoulders and was barely any more than a kit.
OOC: If Lilypaw isn't here, then Golden is busy treating to her and as such cannot come.

"It's nice to see all of you, I guess. Hopefully RiverClan arrives soon, before even the moon gets tired of waiting," Blazeleaf commented as he joined the group of medicine cats. There was a new face among the crowd, and he listened to Dawnpaw introduce herself. Nothing like a nervous newbie who had no idea what was about to happen to her life. Well, the was no harm in warning her. "Greeting Dawnpaw, I'm Blazeleaf, medicine cat of SkyClan. I hope you are prepared for the horrible job you've taken on." While his tone could be mistaken for sarcasm, it was far from it. He was serious about how he described the role. Since StarClan had told him that not listening to them and hating his job might make him evil, he had started just doing those things more. Not on purpose, but just because Robinstar had annoyed him so much. Now every time he healed a wound, he wished he was the one who had gotten it. Oh, what he would give to not have to go to these stupid meetings and just be a normal warrior. But he couldn't do that. Yet.

Valewhisper dipped her head in kind greeting as Rainpool walked up, though she had to push back a feeling of uncertainty about being near her again. Last time Rainpool had asked Valewhisper to pass on a threat to her leader from one of her Clanmates and the medicine cat had been so shocked that she couldn't talk to the she-cat anymore that night. A full moon had passed and a lot had happened; Valewhisper tried not to let it ruffle her fur too much, though she was wary. However, the arrival of a new small she-cat surprised Valewhisper. The scent of WindClan touched her tongue and she raised her tail in greeting, though she was sure her eyes betrayed her curiosity.
Dawnpaw of WindClan introduced herself and explained the situation, and Valewhisper felt a pang of pity for the young she-cat whose face was still round and full of kitten fur. Valewhisper made a soft murmur of understanding, though it broke off into a glare as Blazeleaf made a snotty comment. The ShadowClan medicine cat snorted and mewed, "Pay no mind to Blazeleaf, Dawnpaw. You are on an uncertain and winding path, but StarClan will always be there to help guide your paws." Valewhisper couldn't imagine what WindClan must be suffering without a fully trained medicine cat; Laurelleaf had helped Valewhisper every step of the way, from detaching ticks to closing a wound to replacing a dislocated limb. However, Valewhisper had faith in StarClan. Dawnpaw would not be left without a mentor.
"Frostpaw, why don't you talk to Dawnpaw?" Valewhisper suggested gently to her apprentice. "You're both apprentices; you can learn as much from each other as from your mentors."

Rainpool was shocked when she saw the small apprentice all on her own and was even more shoked by the harsh words of Blazeleaf great Starclan can't he just stop his self-pittying for one night? she looked at the small apprentice hoping Blazeleaf's words did not impact her to mutch a pang of guilt came trough the medicine cat, this young cat was al on her own and the pressure of that must already be way to much for her. A memory of her following Silverleaf to her first half-moon meeting suddenly made its way in her head, she had been so eager to meet Starclan that time and she had been happily bouncing around Silverleaf the whole trip asking her a dozen questions it saddened her that this young cat had made the whole trip al by herself.
Her thought now trailed of to Goldensight, why wasn't she here yet? Had something happened what required her to say in camp? Then a dark thought came in her mind, did the rouges get her? No..no no no no, Rainpool quickly dismissed the thought Goldensight was smart and strong, she had been a warrior before becoming a medicine cat she could handle it. Despite re-asurring herself it still did not feel right. Goldensight did't even have an apprentice if she died the next medicine cat might just be another kit without a mentor. Was there even rouge activity in the other territory's? If not she had to warn them right? Even dough these meeting where not for these topic's she had to! Her whole clan had been chased out, she would not stand hearing that the other clans could have the same fate so she began a bit uneasy "So..this is just a question but has there been any rouge activity in your territory's? she did not tell that Thunderclan had been chased out, not yet.

Dawnpaw's heart was warmed at all of these kind cats. Even if Blazeleaf was quite grumpy, he still had the right intentions. Dawpaw listened to Rainpool discuss the rogues. Dawnpaw sighed, then responded. "Kestrel flight was killed the other day by a rogue whose scent was covered in blood and death scents. It wasn't from the battle though, judging by the wounds on the body. When Eagleflight disappeared, it was suspected to be rogues." Rainpool had the right to know, especially if telling her could benefit Windclan. Dawnpaw then turned to Frostpaw as Valewhisper had instructed her. "So, do you have any special treatments for neck and throat wounds?" Dawnpaw questioned. One might see it as comical, considering the situation.
OOC: Eagleflight was the previous meddie

| F rostpaw remained silent listening to Rainypool called her Coldpaw. She had to go to respectful at least after events of past. "My name is Frostpaw." Said corrected in a polite tone, "It is....good to see you again." It really wasn't bear with for Vale sake. "I am fine with not seeing Goldensight, I am sure she is doing some part for her clan." She paused when listening before to Blazeleaf and Dawnpaw spoke and her ear flicked with annoyance, "This is my time here to Dawnpaw. I know that may seem hard but being a medicine cat or medicine cat apprentice is worth it. I helped me find myself and someone that was taken from me when I was a kit.""I don't know herds all that much, but I know how to his cobwebs for helping with bleeding. If I remember right a lump of honey can help with the throat, right Valewhiper?" |

Valewhisper listened with a growing feeling of anxiety when Rainpool asked about rogue activity. Dawnpaw answered first, telling of the murder of one of their warriors. The scent that Dawnpaw described made Valewhisper's eyes grow dark with worry, but she tried not to let it show. What should she tell the others? Only a few sunrises ago one of the rogues defected from his group and came to warn ShadowClan of ThunderClan's fate and the presence of the Empire in the forest. The medicine cat worried about saying too much for fear of what ears may hear, or who it may be wrongly repeated to. If Otto were discovered then he would be killed.
Instead, Valewhisper meowed, "We smelled that same scent a few sunrises ago; it was on a path through our territory, but we didn't know what it was doing there. That same scent now drifts from ThunderClan territory -" She broke off and stared at Rainpool. Hesitantly, she asked, "Is ThunderClan in trouble?" She knew the answer may not be given freely; though medicine cats were closer than other Clan cats were allowed to be, they were still loyal to their Clan above all else. Rainpool could be unwilling to share her Clan's weaknesses, just as Valewhisper was unwilling to share her Clan's. Valewhisper added, "We don't scent or see ThunderClan patrols anymore. Just the rogues."
Her name from a conversation behind her made her turn her broad head. Valewhisper nodded at her apprentice. "Yes, very good, Frostpaw," she replied, though her voice was a little distracted. She added, "It must be used sparingly, however, since it can be so hard to get a hold of."

"Unless anyone else has urgent matters, I say we finish this claptrap quickly and head to the Moonstone. The night doesn't last forever, you know," Blazeleaf remarked, his impatience evident. While he wasn't exactly eager to see StarClan, he had better things to do with his time than to listen to a bunch of medicine cats babble about trivial matters. Dawnpaw seemed to be the only one who actually had anything important to say about anything.

Rainpool grew already irritated from Blazeleaf, yet she nodded " I think your right Blazeleaf lets go in, we can't wait for Riverclan any longer. She quietly padded into mother mouth and sat down before the moonstone. She really needed guidance of Starclan right now, she simply did not know what to do, her clan was in a mess and even lost their territory, she even had a hard time getting to moonstone. She hoped that Valewhisper would still be there when she woke up she had to share the state with her clan with someone and with Eagleflight gone Valewhisper was her only option right now, besides Rainpool suspected that Valewhisper was already figuring stuf out without her. She touched the cool stone and quickly fell into the blackness of sleep.

Valewhisper nodded in agreement with Rainpool, and begrudgingly by extent to Blazeleaf. She didn't understand why he needed to be so hostile all the time. They were medicine cats; they were supposed to be there for each other, but he only seemed to be there to complain about his duties. Valewhisper ignored him and mewed to her apprentice and Dawnpaw, "Come, you two, we must speak with StarClan even if RiverClan does not come." She swept her bushy tail to gently lead them towards Mothermouth. "This is your first time here, both of you. The Mothermouth is long and dark, but I will keep my tail out for you to follow if you are afraid. Simply walk straight, and trust your whiskers and ears to guide you. Once we enter, we cannot talk until we reach the Moonstone. You'll know when we arrive."
With a meaningful glance at both of them, the black and white ShadowClan medicine cat padded into the Mothermouth, and blackness swallowed her up. For a long time her senses felt stifled - no light to see, and nothing to hear or taste or feel other than cool air ahead - and after several achingly long moments the air opened up around them, and they entered into the cave which held the Moonstone. No sooner had the apprentices come in after her than did the cave fill with a brilliant light as the Moonstone began to glow. Valewhisper turned to her apprentice, Frostpaw. The she-cat needed to be properly introduced to StarClan before she could walk with them.
"Frostpaw, is it your wish to enter the mysteries of StarClan?" She waited for her Apprentice's response, knowing it would be an "It is." or something similar. Valewhisper then went on, "Warriors of StarClan, I present you with this apprentice. She has chosen the path of a medicine cat. Grant her your wisdom and insight so that she may understand your ways and heal her Clan in accordance with your will." Valewhisper beckoned Frostpaw towards the Moonstone. "Crouch beside it. Touch your nose to it, and you will fall asleep - let it come. StarClan will speak with you in your dreams."
The ShadowClan she-cat turned to look at Dawnpaw. "Dawnpaw," she began uncertainly, "you have no mentor to guide you to StarClan. But that doesn't mean they cannot find you." Valewhisper decided to take the leap of faith. "We are all one Clan in StarClan. Dawnpaw, is it your wish to enter the mysteries of StarClan?" Valewhisper carried on after the answer. "Warriors of StarClan, I present you with this apprentice. She has chosen the path of a medicine cat. Grant her your wisdom and insight so that she may understand your ways and heal her Clan in accordance with your will." ThunderClan needs it, the she-cat added to herself. Knowing that Dawnpaw had heard her instructions to Frostpaw, Valewhisper indicated for Dawnpaw to do the same before crouching herself and pressing her nose to the Moonstone. A cold wave of sleep overtook her, silencing her thoughts of worrying for the new apprentices.
