As Moonstar began to call out, Moonstar felt the slight weight of her kits in her chest. She pushed the thought out of her head, hoping others didn't notice. She yowled out for a clan meeting. "All those old enough to stalk their own prey gather beneath the High-Rock for a clan meeting!" Moonstar glanced down as the cats began to gather. She hoped Frostkit would not be stuck in the Medicine Den at this point, and would be able to come here for her apprentice ceremony. "Valewhisper, step forward." Moonstar called out the ancient words loud enough for them to reach the medicine den. For the slightest moment, Moonstar wondered if Valewhisper was ready for an apprentice after the incident with Thunderclan. Moonstar pushed the the thought away, Valewhisper had been right after all. OOC: Just so you know, I'm going by this guide for the MCA ceremony. |

| F rostkit walked out of the medicine's cat den with a neutral expression. It was time again for another clan meeting hopefully this was her apprentice ceremony. She wondered who might be her mentor. Maybe a head-strong and spiteful warrior -she would hate that or overprotective she-cat who treated more like a kit-even worse.
Either way seemed troubling for but there was one cat hope to mentored by. And that was Valewhipser. That she-cat was a kind-hearted, wise and respectable. She wouldn't mind becoming a medicine cat if was she being taught by her. Well, let's see what going to happen today. She sat along the crowd of cats watching in silence. So indeed Valewhipser was choosing her apprentice. Frostkit for once hoped anxiously. Starclan please let her choose me be on my side for once. |

Moonstar's call startled Valewhisper as it rang across the camp and into her den. Despite that Valewhisper had been expecting this meeting, she still had a shaky-at-best relationship with her leader and had almost expected Moonstar to ignore her request to take on an apprentice: Frostkit. The medicine cat tried to push aside the worries. Moonstar loved ShadowClan and would never weaken it by refusing to apprentice a perfectly able kit out of spite.
Valewhisper quickly roused herself from her thoughts and watched as Frostkit scampered from her nest in the medicine den. While Frostkit had been recovered from her illness for a quarter moon, the white kit had remained with Valewhisper; Frostkit had no queen to return to, after all, and had been eating fresh-kill for quite long enough to not need one. The medicine cat quite liked the company, too - enough to make Frostkit her apprentice. She was a fighter, and deeply loyal, and she heard already learned much during her time in the den.
Valewhisper followed Frostkit into the clearing, wondering if the little she-kit knew what was about to happen. Her warm and motherly smile faded as she saw Moonstar, being replaced by a guarded and wary stare. Valewhisper forced her chin up to look proud - this was Frostkit's day, and ShadowClan would also be made stronger by this decision. She raised her soft voice as best as she could, trying to keep her black and white fur from bristling under nerves.
"ShadowClan, we are strong," Valewhisper said, feeling conviction as she began, looking over her Clanmates, "But I will not always be strong. When it is my time to walk with StarClan I want to leave our Clan in skilled, capable paws that can mend all wounds. I have decided that I am ready to take on an apprentice to follow the path of a medicine cat, to help guide her Clan to even greater victories."
Her pale green eyes locked onto Frostkit's multicolored gaze. "Frostkit, I have come to know you well these past few moons. You are curious but cautious, showing a wisdom beyond yours years. You will be our next ShadowClan medicine cat apprentice." Valewhisper shoved away a flicker of doubt that Frostkit would say no - StarClan had many eyes watching this little kit. Surely this was her first step toward her destiny, whatever it may be. |

Moonstar looked happily around the clan. They were all gathered here, Moonstar's kits would come soon, and it was a time for peace. At long last, Shadowclan's era of fighting had ended. And now, Valewhisper was taking an apprentice. Moonstar was obviously happy and relaxed. "Frostkit, do accept the post of apprentice to medicine cat? It will be a hard one, and a difficult one that will last many, many moons." Moonstar looked at Frostkit, soon to be Frostpaw, waiting for them to gather up the courage and speak those famous words, 'I do.' It brought Moonstar back to when she had just turned six moons old and was being apprenticed alongside Sandpaw. When Oakenstar was still alive and there was no tension. A time when Shadowclan was plentiful in food. Ah, what a time to be alive.

| F rostkt was enjoyed she gave an almost normal smile for once. She was chosen by Valewhipser and would training to be the medicine cat and Moonstar. For once, she was grateful for her sickness for once. She was so happy that there were words to stay under than this."Thank you greatly Valpwhisper and Moonstar. I will gladly accept this position and I know it will hard but promise I will do my best."
She wondered who Romanpaw would say when she tells him. She hoped he would under stay her choice. It was better for not her trained as a normal apprentice. Then was better for her and maybe she could see her parents in Starclan one day. She could say now at least one that Starclan was smiling upon her. |

Valewhisper dipped her head in acknowledgement of Moonstar's words, and Frostkit's. Well, the apprentice hadn't said the correct words, but "I" and "do" were in there. The black and white she-cat meowed, "Then at the half-moon, Frostkit, you and I will make the journey to the Moonstone to present you before StarClan and the other four Clans." She looked up at Moonstar and nodded gently; Frostkit was ready for her apprentice name. |

| F rostkit-Frostpaw nodded to her soon to be mentor. She could only that Starclan would prove of her and maybe her mother and father. Shadowclan didn't have a kind-hearted underneath loads of ambition. But It balances out in time. "I can't wait for it, I"m sure the other medicine cats and their apprentices will think i'm but weird, but I don't care. I have you and my clan. That's all that matters."

Moonstar smiled. Frostkit reminded her so much of herself when she was her age. "The good wishes from all of Shadowclan go with you." Moonstar signaled with her tail for the new mentor and apprentice to touch noses. Even if Frostkit didn't follow traditional formalities, she was still so sweet. Moonstar would've given anything to be back there with Fawnpaw and Oakenstar. Moonstar sighed, and waited. Memories flooded her of hunting with Fawnpaw, and Fawnpaw being killed... she sighed and pushed those memories away. After all, today was a day for rejoice.

Valewhisper purred with delight at Frostpaw's words, and at Moonstar's signal the medicine caf bent forward and touched her nose to her new apprentice's. "I look forward to training you." |
