These are all the rules and regulations for WindClan under Brackenstar's rule.
All punishments are subject to discussion and may vary based on the severity and intention
of the infraction. Punishments listed are the worst-case scenario.
The deputy and the senior warriors are permitted to dispense fair punishment without first
consulting Brackenstar, but the situation must be relayed to him for the final say.
The Warrior Code is included, but some have an implicit punishment handled
by StarClan rather than by WindClan and therefore will not
have a listed consequence.

Warriors must travel in pairs or more when outside of camp; no solo hunting
→ Failure to comply will result in temporary reassignment to Apprentice duties
Border patrols will be doubled until rogue is found and brought to justice

WindClan Rules and Regulations
→ Failure to comply will result in temporary relief from tunneling duties; secondary offense will result in removal from tunneling team
Kittytpets, loners, and rogues are not permitted to join WindClan, as they only bring trouble and unease to all the Clans
Forbidden romances will be treated as disloyalty to the Clan, but will be subject to situational review; in the case of kits, see following
→ If the romance is discovered, the involved party will be given the choice to leave WindClan or swear off the romance and prove their loyalty to their Clan
→ The queen has first right to the kits; if the queen is WindClan, the kits are WindClan and will be defended unconditionally as such
→ If the father is WindClan, he will be given the choice to leave WindClan (to join his queen and kits) or swear off his romance, disown the kits as his own, and prove his loyalty to his Clan[/ul]
The Warrior Code
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan’s territory.
→ Hunting or trespassing will result in reprimand; subsequent offenses will result in temporary reassignment to Apprentice duties
→ if Apprentice hunts or trespasses they will receive a reprimand and assignment to elder and nursery duties
3. Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors.
→ Feeding oneself before the elders and kits will result in being forbade to eat until after hunting on a hunting patrol the following day
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
→ Wasting prey or being disrespectful towards fresh-kill will result in being forbade to eat until after hunting on a hunting patrol the following day
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.
7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.
8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh.
10. A gathering of all Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
→ Failure to keep peace during the Gathering will result in temporary banning from Gatherings
11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.
→ Failure to challenge a trespasser will result in reprimand; subsequent offenses may be treated as disloyalty to one's Clan
12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.
→ Failure to assist a kit in pain will result in reprimand
13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
→ Failure to obey the Clan leader without adequate reason, or prior discussion, will result in temporary reassignment to Apprentice duties
→ if Apprentice disobeys, punishment will vary by severity of disobedience
14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his or her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.
→ Unnecessary killing during a battle will be subject to a trial; if the death was malicious and intentional, it will result in exile from the Clan - brutality is not tolerated
15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
→ Failure to reject kittypet life will result in exile from the Clan[/ul][/div]
