The midnight moon fluttered over Fourtrees. The beauty's light flickered down onto The Great Oak, lighting the popular gathering spot. Soon, all the clans would be here and the leaders would speak once more.
OOC: I know that the gathering just ended but in order to get back onto schedule I need to make a new one ;)

Brackenstar Thin slowly with his Clan tonight. He was in no rush to get to the Gathering; after all, the last one had not been particularly pleasant, and while Brackenstar meant what he said to Badgerstar, he realized that he had been no better than the ThunderClan and ShadowClan leaders. Just because he had said it only to Badgerstar didn't mean that it wasn't still disrespectful to ThunderClan.
The golden-brown tom would not be apologizing tonight; instead, he intended to hold his tongue about the other tom's behavior should he act out again. Brackenstar had said all that needed to be said. He would gain nothing from repeating it other than further damaging their already admittedly precarious alliance.
Despite moving slowly, Brackenstar found himself the first to arrive at Fourtrees. He entered the clearing and stopped, flicking his tail to encourage his Clan to continue on past him. His amber eyes scanned the clearing and just inside the forest line. For the moment, everything felt calm. He did not go immediately for the Great Rock; he waited amongst his Clan, watching for the next to arrive.

Moonstar held her head high. Tensions had been running even higher since the last gathering due to multiple skirmishes. (THAT THUNDERCLAN STARTED) Moonstar lead her clan into the gathering and leaped onto the great-rock. She was furious, and due to a recent change in planning, Moonstar would not be tolerating any nonsense. Not from Thunderclan or her own clan. Her kit was in danger of death, and her kits to come would be in danger too.
Swampfang was likely to die, and it was Thunderclan's fault. Moonstar, however, would not call them out for this at the current time. Shadowclan was to maintain it's peaceful reputation if her plan was to work. Moonstar was bearing kits, and for the second time in her life she felt the fierce love of a mother.
OOC: To kill of Swampfang I was planning to have him heavily wounded by a Thunderclan npc and then die. I can edit this out of the post and remove that from the story if you want me to though. @thin

OOC: Alright~
Badgerstar began to move closely towards Fourtrees. The unfortunate near death of Moonstar's patrol was heavy on the leaders mind, and it was obvious. Although, with Badgerstar's mate at his side, he knew that he was going to try his best to be a little less hot-headed this evening.
The leader leaped onto his stone. Looking towards the other leader and nodding his head towards Moonstar, as nice as the gesture was, there was burning anger in his eyes for he would be accused by Moonstar of murdering her son, which the leader was not at all responsible for. "She likes to allow those mistakes of hers simply get defended each time they do something wrong. Or she blames it on others..." The male growled to himself, understanding that Moonstar could likely hear, but it wasn't like he truly cared all that much. The hatred between the two had grown, and by the looks that they were giving each other, it was obvious.
(all of my other characters will be brought in later, I apologize.)

Ravenheart quietly padded just behind Moonstar. His face was stone, no expression. He simply padded up to the Great-Rock and sat in front of it, nodding quietly to Windclan and Riverclan's deputies. He wasn't a fan of Thunderclan, especially their skirmishes they had. Thankfully they had arrived before them, and hopefully there would be little squabbling at the gathering.

Valewhisper, the ShadowClan Medicine Cat, entered the clearing timidly behind her leader, her shoulders sloping and her head low. She had been having odd dreams, perhaps visions from StarClan, but they seemed so distant... They gave her no signs to follow, no inkling what the dreams may mean. It was as if StarClan were far away, but they felt so close... Valewhisper tried to shake the strong feeling of foreboding that had soaked into her skin since the previous Gathering. She was afraid for her Clan, and for all her Clans, yet other than the skirmishes there seemed to be no real threat. What might it be?
Mousepaw strode in proudly after her father, pale green eyes full of disdain. She didn't understand why ThunderClan had to come be with all these mouse-brained kits, murderers, and liars. What had any of the other Clans ever done to deserve ThunderClan's help or anything they had contributed to the forest? Even WindClan, their supposed allies, had been disrespectful to her father, Badgerstar. Why did ThunderClan need any of the other Clans? The silver tabby sat heavily in the clearing, sitting tall with her nose in the air.
Brackenstar sat quietly as he watched the flood of RiverClan, then ShadowClan, then ThunderClan enter the clearing of Fourtrees. His tail, curled around his paws, flicked gently as he watched the other leaders take their place on the rock, exchanging pleasantries. The tom looked around to watch the Warriors and Apprentices interact, soft amber eyes burning intensely as he gauged the hostility between the Clans. WindClan was allied with ThunderClan, and RiverClan with ShadowClan. It was fair, technically speaking, but the whole ordeal did not sit well with him.

Tigerpounce sat stoically at the base of the rock, beneath the place of her leader. She watched as Ravenheart passed by, taking his place near to her own. I wonder if I should say anything. Would that make things worse? But Riverclan has no part in this... Looking through the crowd of cats, scents mingling together in the tightly packed hollow, "Tonight should be interesting," The deputy mumbled, not to anyone in particular, "Hopefully the leaders can try and keep the peace." Tilting her head back and gazing at the moon, she spotted a few patches of wispy clouds drifting lazily across the sky. Tension ran through the air like static, making Tigerpounce's fur stand on end.

OOC: Sorry for being out of character so much, but Pebblestar, Valewhisper, and other cats can all be a little bit more aware of Moonstar x Ottersplash's relationship this gathering, if they want them to, of course.
IC: Ottersplash entered behind his leader, Pebblestar. He had been nervous for this gathering, he had known that the secret of he and Moonstar's relationship was being noticed, and he tried to hide that fact. Although, he really had to speak to Moonstar this time, hopefully it wouldn't be clan business right away, for he needed to tell her about Pebblestar's suspicions between the two.
Nevertheless, he sat himself down next to a brown-and-white she-cat apprentice, shooting a nervous glare to his mate.
--
Ferretheart walked alongside her clanmates, keeping quiet and hoping that a fight between ThunderClan and ShadowClan wouldn't break out this time. She didn't feel like her clan regretted having Badgerstar as leader, but sometimes he didn't deserve his role. He did have his glorious moments though, seeking glory even when he was on the highest spot he could possibly get in his clan. He always is just clawing for the reason of doing it, I guess... Ferretheart thought, tired of Badgerstar's actions towards Moonstar, being that he poked her a lot almost just to see what she would respond to it with.
--
Kestrelfang headed into the gathering, still fighting for a seat to watch the action between the clans rise. He was worried that WindClan's actions towards ThunderClan's may be noticed, but he knew that Brackenstar's respect was too high to for the clans recognize such things to be spoken about at the gathering, perhaps the arrogant ThunderClan leader would speak WindClan's name about their now failing ally plans.

As more cats filed into the clearing, Tigerpounce gazed through the crowd, her eyes settling upon one particular cat. Ottersplash... She thought to herself, wondering if she was recalling the name correctly. As Tigerpounce continued to watch the tom, she noticed his eyes flittering around rapidly until they settled upon one cat in particular, Moonstar. Tigerpounce pricked her ears in curiosity, wondering what her fellow Riverclan cat could possibly want with another clans leader, until it finally hit her. No... She thought to herself, Ottersplash would never betray his clan! The deputy shook her head as if to clear her thoughts, and tore her eyes away from her clanmate, hoping to Starclan that her suspicions were wrong.

Hollowblossom walked into the gathering next to Badgerstar. It had been her first time walking in with a new rank, and she was quite pleased to be sitting below her leader, who she gladly served.
The she-cat made her way below The Great Rock, trying her best to keep a proud smile and to not look over towards Moonstar. She didn't have any issues with Ravenheart, Hollowblossom had actually heard good news about the deputy, but it was Moonstar that she had heard the opposite about. She was trying her best to hold back from talking too much, knowing that it was Badgerstar's job to talk about what was new to the clan since the last gathering, which she hadn't had the chance to hear about due to her previous ranking in ThunderClan.
Hollowblossom had made sure to mat her fur down and keep good posture during this meeting, for it would be important to show her better sides over her worst. She made sure to tuck her tail next to her paws, covering them appropriately. Hollowblossom was curious as to what would happen this time, and perhaps what gossip she was to hear. Sometimes the she-cat's spirit of inquiry was rather shoddy and unpleasant to others, be it her annoying questions or result of her flawed trait.

The Riverclan deputy glanced over to Hollowblossom, sitting stiffly and watching the crowd before her. Tigerpounce supressed a purr, noticing how nervous she seemed to be, and thought back to her first gathering as deputy of Riverclan, the feeling of seemingly thousands of eyes resting upon her and her leader, watching and searching for any small mishap. "This is your first time coming to a gathering as a deputy, yes?" She drawled, turning to look at Hollowblossom, "Don't you worry too much, it's not us they're focused on." Tigerpounce scanned over the crowd once more, watching the cats twist and mingle with one another, as if they were not divided by clans and territories and blood. This was one of Tigerpounces favorite nights, when they all came together and forgot the lines dividing them; the peace that settled upon the clans when given the chance to interact with others gave her a sense of pride in her own diplomacy. "Now let's only hope that the leaders can set aside their differences and keep the peace tonight," Tigerpounce mumbled, both to herself and the other lingering deputies, "Starclan knows we don't need any more fighting."

The Shadowclan deputy would watch Hollowblossom come take a seat. He quietly listened to Tigerpounce consoling her about being a deputy at a gathering. He flicked his scarred ear, and looked at the other two deputies. "I'd hope the peace is kept tonight. Shadowclan and Thunderclan should put an end to this. Last skirmish went too far." He'd meow this with slight annoyance in his tone which was unusual for the black tom. His gaze scanned the crowd of cats looking for Skyclan. They hadn't arrived yet.
Smokepaw had arrived behind his sister and father, excited to go to his first gathering. He looked around for a place to sit, and found one near his sister. He didn't like having to look at Shadowclan, much less sit next to them. He saw his father hopping up onto the stone. He wondered if he would ever be the one hopping up there someday.

Tigerpounce nodded in agreement with the Shadowclan deputy, noting how humble he was to admit his own clan had gone too far. "I agree, I would prefer it if we were all able to put this to rest," The bengal hummed, letting her shoulders fall as tension left her body. She sat beneath the massive stone, wondering where Skyclan could possibly be, and what would cause them to be so late to a gathering. "If we're going to have to wait much longer, I'm afraid the leaders will decide to start without Skyclan," She thought out loud, turning to the other deputies as if looking for input. "I wonder if something is keeping them behind, it's not usually like them to not show up," Tigerpounce continued, pricking her ears in an attempt to see if she could spot any noises that would betray Skyclan's arrival, but she was only met with the noises of the already gathered clans.

Brackenstar sat in the crowd for a while longer before finally heaving himself to his paws, knowing that they could not wait around forever. StarClan could only grant them so much moonlight. This was the second Gathering in a row to which SkyClan had arrived late; Brackenstar tried to ignore the prickle of annoyance he felt at their lack of respect for the other Clans. The WindClan leader made his way toward the Great Rock, weaving between cats of different Clans and dipping his head courteously to them as he passed.
The golden-brown tom paused at the base of the rock and dipped his head courteously to the deputies that had gathered. He heard Tigerpounce's comment and mumbled, his tone barely hiding his annoyance, "Perhaps Lionstar can't see the moon through the trees." Brackenstar then looked to Hollowblossom, the new deputy of ThunderClan. Brackenstar had seen her at gatherings before, but her name was new to him. "Congratulations on becoming ThunderClan's deputy," he said evenly. "I am sure they can use a strong deputy now."
Without waiting for a response from the she-cat, Brackenstar quickly and easily scaled the Great Rock to stand beside his fellow leaders. He wondered what they would think of him having sat amongst the warriors rather than sitting with them. He had meant no disrespect by the action; he was merely curious to hear what the gossip was between Warriors. Leaders, himself included, tended to be very biased and give dry news. Besides, there was still plenty of time to talk to the other leaders if Lionstar had not arrived with SkyClan yet.
Brackenstar looked kindly at Pebblestar, then a little more neutrally at Badgerstar and Moonstar. He seated himself, rumbling, "Good evening. Has prey been plenty for you all this moon?"
